The city of Quincy operates public transportation in Adams county. West Central Mass Transit provides public transportation in Brown and Pike Counties. In Hancock County, public transportation is provided by Hancock County Public Transportation System. In Calhoun county, transportation is provided by Tri County Rural Transit. For any senior transportation throughout west central Illinois, the full cost of each trip will be made known prior to departure. Each person will be asked to pay towards the full cost of the service either on the day of the trip, or by way of a monthly statement that is sent. Each person over 60 can and should contribute as much as they can afford.
